If you’re advertising a product, at least one link should send customers directly to that product. Advertisements with text-in codes allow your audience to reach you directly. You can put these codes in your regular ad campaigns as a call to action. They are most effective as a discount code, something that adds extra value to a service or product, or as a quick way for your customer to gain more information.
Coupon codes let you know which form of advertising is effective. You can put codes everywhere, from Twitter and Facebook updates, to adding them at the bottom of print ads. Each code should have a different name, even if they all offer the same incentive. If each code is attached to a different campaign, you’ll be able to identify which platforms are the most effective.
